106/365 Go Fly A Kite!
While unpacking some stuff in my basement I noticed a box that had some kite and spinners in it. This is one of the kites I bought many years ago when Thanksgiving Point in Lehi was getting rid of all their kite related products. It was on clearance for only a few dollars so I bought it. I had since forgotten completely about it as it wasn’t kite flying weather when I purchased it. I was happy to find it and fly it, probably more excited about it than even my kids. It was a good day.

105/365 Word
Today’s photo is some words of The Hunger Games book of which I have just finished. Yay!

104/365 Heads or Tails
Today while at the Riverwoods in Orem we came across the Provo Beach Resort. It is a cool place with lots to do. We unfortunately did not participate in any of the activities as we were unprepared to do so, however we had fun watching others. This photo was one of my favorites. I like the kid on the left and how his foot is sticking straight out of the water. The kids on the left that were apparently just learning had some great wipe outs.

103/365 Frooooooogy!
Today I took my kids to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was busy but we had a blast still. This is one of the photographs I made of a frog fish. The funny thing is that at first I thought it was a rock.

102/365 Aw Nuts
Although I’m allergic to Walnuts I think they are pretty interesting looking. They are pretty gnarly little dudes after all.

100/365 Magic Carpet
Here is one of my most recent frags (small bit or coral). This one looks like a wavy carpet to the naked eye. I love the detail of it up close though. I had no idea all that was there.

99/365 Easter Love
It was a wonderful and heartfelt Easter Sunday today. We thankfully had the opportunity to make a few photographs of our kids after church service. The arguing and fighting doesn’t seem so bad when they are so loving and kind to each other too. I am very blessed to have such amazing kids, wife and family.

Here are a few more photos I made of them today. Enjoy!

98/365 THE bunny visits
The Easter Bunny is amazing and always hides jelly beans around our house for our kids to run around and find/collect. This is amazing because Mr. Bunny used to do the same thing when I was growing up and I remember how much fun it was to try and find where he had hid the jelly beans. It was always a big laugh when we wouldn’t find all the beans and months later come across another one, what a nice, hard, little surprise.

97/365 Home Sweet Home
Ever have one of those days that you just want to be over? I have many times and it seems that nothing makes me forget about the day quite like sitting down to a good movie or engaging tv show.

96/365 Auto shop ‘Art’
Today while getting an oil change in one of our cars I noticed this art on the side of one of the tool boxes. I love the contrast of the colors and the shapes, especially the square pattern and then the circles painted on them.

93/365 Hung
Yesterday we finally hung up some wall portraits in our house after moving in a month ago. It is finally becoming more like our home and not just a different house.

92/365 Garden Snail
We found this little guy outside at my sister in laws house today. Hopefully he is making a good pet for their kids.

91/365 Dive, dive, DiVe!
Today was an amazing day. I went with a group of photographers called PhotoWalkingUtah to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy, UT. Not only was it amazing to start with, but then I was chosen to go behind the scenes to make some photographs! I was one of 4 people that had this opportunity and I have to say it was an amazing experience. Todays photo is one of my favorites from the day, but there are many more that I love too. Check them out at http://bit.ly/H9P8bV

90/365 Drops on green
Here is another photo I made since my recent obsession with Macro photography. I love seeing the reflection on the light I was using in every drop.

89/365 Coral
Today’s photo is a macro (close up) of one of the corals in my aquarium. I had no idea there were all those little fingers on it. It was also interesting to see the little fingers open and close like hands as I was in the process of making this photo. Things can be so fascinating up close.

85/365 Balls
Today’s photo was a desperate attempt to make a picture before the end of the day. Originally I wanted to focus on the shadow but in the end I am drawn more to the texture and variety of these decorative balls.

84/365 The Wall
Some friends told us about and met up with us at this cool new park nearby. Here is one photo of my Shawn climbing the rock wall. I love the nice weather for going out and doing stuff like this.
Kids grow up so fast! Have fun with them NOW!

83/365 Noodle
I went to one of our favorite stores to stock up on whole wheat pasta today. Bulk food at Winco is the way to go. Yummy!

82/365 Crossroads
While playing with my son I made this photo using a flashlight and one of his Hot Wheel cars.
A crossroad on the road just as in life can lead us to new places, new opportunities, and change. I think we can all use a change once in a while in life. Embrace change and enjoy the new choices placed before you.

81/365 Work
Today’s photo is from my wife’s work, Matilda Jane Clothing. This is a fancy folder from the Serendipity collection that she had lying on her desk.
