126/365 Supermoon
Last night like many people I photographed the Supermoon. If interested please see Nasa’s site for a nice little video on Supermoon.

124/365 Buzz
Now that our tulips are gone and new flowers are blooming I thought I had better make another flower photograph. I love the colors in this photograph and the shallow depth of field (the blur).

112/365 Pink
The colors in the sky tonight were amazing. I loved all the pink against the stormy blue sky and clouds.

68/365 Off-Road
While out on a drive tonight with my boys we found this road. It is very rough for sure and we didn’t venture down it too far before returning to the nice smooth paved roads.

67/365 Full Moon
Tonight there was a full moon (or nearly) that was so clear and big I had to make a photograph of it. Other attempts in the past have not resulted in any detail in the moon so I am proud of this image for the simple fact that it doesn’t just look like a white circle

65/365 The Skies have it…
It is beginning to feel like spring around here today. Temp was near 60˚. Unfortunately it won’t last for long, but what a beautiful day.

57/365 Smiling Moon
I loved the sky and especially the moon tonight. I haven’t seen the moon turned the way it was tonight to make it look like a smile.

42/365 New Galaxy
Although this photograph was made out my back window, I like it. It looks like something you would see on Nasa’s website. What do you think?

37/365 Solitary
I took a drive today and made this photo of this lonely, solitary tree. There was a lot of haze in the mountains but it didn’t show up too much in the photograph, luckily.

28/365 12
Todays photo is from a little camping area we drove through today. The number 12 has no real significants, it was the post marking this great camping spot. We can’t wait for it to get warmer so we can come back and do a little camping.

23/365 Snow
Today marked one of the most significant snow days all winter. It has been a very mild winter so far, which I am not sad about, but we do need the snow. Now for more shoveling, ugh!

Day 108 : Flower Patch
I take no credit for these flowers as they are not mine, but I love them just the same.
Day 105 : Springtime, Really?
Could it be that Spring is finally here? Probably not with all the cold weather but don’t tell the trees that.
Day 102 : Water?
Today we saw for the first time in nearly five years water it what we usually call the dry creek that runs just behind our house. Crazy and a little eery hearing water running all the time when outdoors when we aren’t used to it.
Day 100! – Soaring
Yay! 100 days done!
I wish I could say that this photo was representative of how my 365 project is going but alas it is not soaring by. Hopefully it will get easier to be more creative every day, hence one of the goals for doing this project in the first place.
Day 53 : End of the road
In an attempt to make my car “ready” for its emissions test (long story) me and my boys took a long drive down a desolate road. Here is the end of said road. It was snowing and dark clouds loomed overhead but it is always fun to spend time with my boys.
Day 50 : Viva Las Vegas
Here is my favorite photo I made while in Las Vegas for WPPI. This was taken from high atop the Stratosphere. Love the lights and the sky. It was amazing but a little eerie at the same time!
Day 48 : Vegas Skyline
Vegas from a-far. It was a cold windy evening when I took this with airplanes almost directly overhead. The cities lights are amazingly bright to the point where it looks like the sun never quite fully goes down. I love it!
Day 47 : Twin Palms
An unusual site for Utah but not for Las Vegas which is where I am currently. I am here for a photography convention called WPPI and it is awesome. Stay tuned in the next couple days for what I think are spectacular photos from Vegas!
