While on a walk today, waiting for the radiator in my car to be replaced, I came across this Catholic Church. I love the architecture and the spotted (blue and red) dome. This isn’t a common thing to see here in Utah so I took the opportunity to make this photograph.
This morning we had so much fun going to Lowe’s with the scouts and building castles. This is a photo of my wife helping one of my sons hammer his castle door together. We will have to attend these evens at Lowe’s more often now that we know about them.
While my son was at his 4 yr dr. checkup I took the opportunity to go make a photograph of a cool old gas station. I like to think of this as a reflection of times gone by.
Here is my favorite photo I made while in Las Vegas for WPPI. This was taken from high atop the Stratosphere. Love the lights and the sky. It was amazing but a little eerie at the same time!
We had the pleasure of going to dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s while in Vegas and besides the company and food being amazing the decor was too. There are two hands, one on each side, of one of the exits of the restaurant. While there were many things to photograph I like this the most as I think it is the the most unique.
Vegas from a-far. It was a cold windy evening when I took this with airplanes almost directly overhead. The cities lights are amazingly bright to the point where it looks like the sun never quite fully goes down. I love it!
This is an old school in Fairfield Utah that I think has a lot of character and is really cool.
The latest snow/winter storm rolled in this afternoon and all I could think about was GO AWAY! Luckily enough we have had this sign proudly displayed in the entrance to our house for years now as more or a joke than anything. One side says GO AWAY and the other says WELCOME. The problem sometime is that the wind blows it and it spins around and greets people with Go Away. So you never know what you will be greeted with when you come to our house. Oh and please storm really do GO AWAY!
I have to admit that I am not sure where or what this is, but while on a drive in Pleasant Grove/Linden area I spotted it and thought it was very interesting. My wife’s first though was that it looked like a Hershey Kiss. I think it was her diet talking mostly though
