111/365 Holy Frogspawn!!

While on the WMAS Reef Tour 2012 we found this beauty of a tank at one of the houses. Not only are all the corals and fish unique and amazing looking, but just look at that huge mass of Frogspawn. It has to be the size of a basketball. It was amazing. It was definitely a Saturday morning well spent.

107/365 One Little Speckled Frog…

Sing Along….

One little speckled frog
Sat on a speckled log
Eating the most delicious bugs. Yum! Yum!
It jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool
Now there is no more speckled frogs

103/365 Frooooooogy!

Today I took my kids to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was busy but we had a blast still. This is one of the photographs I made of a frog fish. The funny thing is that at first I thought it was a rock.

92/365 Garden Snail

We found this little guy outside at my sister in laws house today. Hopefully he is making a good pet for their kids.

91/365 Dive, dive, DiVe!

Today was an amazing day. I went with a group of photographers called PhotoWalkingUtah to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy, UT. Not only was it amazing to start with, but then I was chosen to go behind the scenes to make some photographs! I was one of 4 people that had this opportunity and I have to say it was an amazing experience. Todays photo is one of my favorites from the day, but there are many more that I love too. Check them out at http://bit.ly/H9P8bV

Picked up a few new corals today. One of my favorite is this Zoanthid.

73/365 Long-nose Hawk

My Long-nose hawk fish chillin’ on the bottom of the aquarium. He has no air bladder so he perches wherever he can.

54/365 Old Bear

While packing we came across some stuff in our basement that I had no idea we even had. One such item was a childhood friend of mine, Bear. Now Bear has someone new to love and squeeze him.

21/365 Friends

Yes, just like the popular movie “Finding Nemo” these fish are friends. These are some of my longest surviving fish and I have had them for almost 5 years.

10/365 Origami

My son Shawn got out his new origami book that was given to him on Christmas and had a blast. These are two of my favorites that he made. Nicely done Shawn and thanks for helping me light paint these.

Day 100! – Soaring

Yay! 100 days done!

I wish I could say that this photo was representative of how my 365 project is going but alas it is not soaring by. Hopefully it will get easier to be more creative every day, hence one of the goals for doing this project in the first place.

Day 57 : Sweet Maggie

This is our sweet Maggie. She likes her friend Jedi which is a Schnauzer so much that she wanted a haircut like him even though she is a Yorkie. She looks so much smaller and cute but when she stands her ears up watch out ’cause they aren’t little Schnauzer ears, they look huge! She is so cute and I took some photos with her ears up but I like this photo the best. Isn’t she sweet.

Here is my son again after he talked me into making a new photo of him while jumping. Talk about crazy hair!

Day 55 : A horse is a horse, of course, of course

Today my youngest son and I were out running errands and came across some gorgeous farms and livestock. I could actually post more than one photo today because I love 3 of them, but I will stick to 1. I love the colors and the mountains in the background. Enjoy!
